The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information: 

·   Name of the person requesting works, 

·   Address, and or

·   Email address,

·   Phone numbers of the person requesting works,

·   Banking information of the person paying for the works,

·   Site / property address for works to be completed,

·   Phone number for point of contact at the site / property address.

How we get the personal information and why we have it 

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

·   To provide a quote for works to be completed,

·   To take payment for works completed.

We use the information that you have given us in order to best provide accurate quotes for works to be completed and to receive payments for works we have completed.

We may share this information with individuals who are giving you a quote or carrying out the works within MG Rover Custom Car Parts. Limited information may also be shared with our accountant, relevant Government departments, our insurance company, law enforcement agencies and legally appropriate organisations, should the need arise in order for MG Rover Custom Car Parts to provide the best service to our customers and in order for us to comply with UK laws.

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored. Electronic information is stored on devices with security enabled. Paper records will be stored in a locked filling cabinet.

We keep all personal and financial records for 6 financial years plus the current financial year. We will then dispose your information by:

·   Paper documents will be shredded and disposed of securely,

·   Electronic documents will be deleted from our systems and removed from the recycling bin.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
